Governments around the world ramp up the ESG requirements for global supply chains

Barcelona, January 9, 2023.- According to the Logistics Manager magazine, a new law that is being enforced from the beginning of 2023 means that German companies will now face fines of up to 2% of their global turnover if they fail to provide a comprehensive account of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks in place in their supply chains, including details of what is being done to prevent human rights abuses and protect the environment.
