UE:”Building a European Data Economy”

Brussels, March 9, 2017.- The new oil is the data. This phrase is becoming more and more real. Transport and logistics companies are, every day, more aware of controlling and managing all the information around each order. For this reason, we bring here the latest regulation of the European Union on data economy and three very interested videos with business forums that analyze the competitive advantages of the new black gold: data in a hyperconnected Internet society.

The European Commission adopted a Communication on building a European data economy on 10 January 2017, based on the conclusions of the Communication on data-driven economy (2014).

Eurostat: “Cloud computing services used by one out of every five enterprises in the EU28”

Paris, Jan, 07, 2015.-  Instead of building their own IT infrastructure, enterprises have the possibility to access computing resources hosted by third parties on the internet. This shared pool of resources is most commonly known as “cloud computing”. As cloud computing services are delivered on-line, enterprises must have internet access to be able to use them, which was the case in 2014 for almost all enterprises (97%) employing 10 persons or more in the EU28.

Nueva Unidad Logística y velocidad en autopistas

Madrid, 29 de noviembre del 2012.-  Un importante anuncio para el próximo ejercicio. Antes de julio del 2013 el Ministerio de Fomento habrá elaborado un mapa logístico de España y se habrá decidido si incrementar la velocidad en autopistas. La ministra de Fomento, Ana Pastor, ha apuntado que la propuesta planteada por el Grupo Parlamentario Popular de elevar el límite de velocidad en las autopistas “se estará estudiando” con el Ministerio del Interior. Pastor indicó no obstante que “cualquier decisión que se tome al respecto se hará siempre garantizando la seguridad vial”.
